We do things differently at Ludus

Most gyms sell memberships and leave you to figure it out. Others run “quick fix” challenges that might get short-term results, but they don’t last. We knew there had to be a better way.

That’s why we created the
LUDUS 90-Day Accelerator.

This is more than a programme. It’s a proven system designed to get you leaner, stronger, and more energised and keep you that way.

In just 90 days, we help you build the foundations of long-term fitness: proper training, accountability, structure, and results that actually stick.

Our Founder, Tom Burns

I created Ludus because I believe strength training has the power to transform every area of life.

My own journey has always been about testing what is possible. From competing in Strongman at a national level to CrossFit on the international stage, I have challenged myself across multiple disciplines.

My proudest achievement remains climbing Mt. Snowdon with a 100kg barbell on my back, raising vital awareness and funds for the Ted Senior Foundation. Alongside that, I have built Ludus from a shipping container into the thriving community it is today while navigating my own battles with mental health.

What I have discovered is that true strength is not only physical. It is the ability to master your mind, uphold your standards, and lead by example.

That is why Ludus exists: to give people that same opportunity. To prove that no matter your age, background, or starting point, you can become stronger, leaner, more resilient, and more confident than you ever thought possible.

My mission is simple. To help people unlock that version of themselves and to build a community where ordinary people achieve extraordinary things every single day.

Rehab Coach, Dai Morgan

I’m Dai Morgan and helping clients escape pain and giving them the confidence to try new things (or pick up old hobbies!) is what I love doing. Because sometimes stopping just is not an option. Yet, pain when doing the activities you enjoy and love can put a real downer on being active. It sucks. I’ve been there and I’ve also worked with countless clients who have dealt with this.

Regardless if it’s a new niggle that happens on a park run, or your back hurts getting out of bed. Maybe your hip stops you from socializing with family and friends? Through the use of structured, well thought out training, we can drastically improve your body's capacity and get you back out there doing what you love.

Having recovered from a few big injuries over the years myself, I understand how daunting it can be to start the rebuild. My style of coaching is focused on meeting you where you are at and building solid foundations from there. It will not be a linear journey and it will be unique to you. My goal is to set you up for long-term success to chase whatever big goals you come up with!

Outside of the gym, I enjoy going to watch lots of local live sport and music; travelling to new countries, cities, restaurants or just diving into a good book.
